All meetings are held at West Wellow Village Hall on a Tuesday evening commencing at 7.30pm (unless otherwise stated) Light refreshments and a raffle are available at all meetings held in the hall
2010 Programme
January 30/31 Hampshire Potato Day at Whitchurch. Open from 10.00am until 15.00hrs. Lots of stands to visit including Hants D.A, plus 130 varieties of potato to choose from.
February 9th Not to be missed, a talk on potato growing with slides by Sherie Plumb.
March 9th Jim Arbury superintendent of the fruit department at Wisley gives us a talk on fruit growing.
Saturday May 8th Our bumper plant sale at Wellow village hall open from 10.00am until 13.00hrs.
Late June. Hants D.A visit to RHS Wisley. Details to be confirmed.
July 18th Our chairman Ted Perren opens his garden to the members. A cornucopia of vegetables and flowers. Plus refreshments. Bring your own folding chair to be sure of a seat. Open from 13.00hrs.
July 27/28/29 The New Forest Show hosting the NVS Southern Branch Championships. Hants DA plant stall and information stand. Schedules available from John Trim ‘show secretary’.
September 14th Hants D.A mini vegetable show. Staging from 19.00hrs until 20.00hrs. Entry forms from the secretary.
October 12th. Pests and diseases by Ray Broughton of Sparsholt College.
December 7th. AGM and Christmas Quiz.
