Why not join our 2,500 members, share information, tips and advice with the best vegetable growers in the country - Join the National Vegetable Society Here National ChampionshipsThe NVS championships are being held this year at Dorchester in the County of Dorset on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2009. The championships will form part of the Dorset County Show which is one of the premier agricultural and horticultural events in the region. More information about the show and events will be available here in the New Year.To give a flavour of the NVS Championships held in 2008 at Harrogate please go to the news section. NVS National Championships 2008 The results from 2007 National Championship at Malvern are also available on the site. We are broken into five regions with district associations covering more local areas - you can find out more in About the NVS. We also provide training for and supply judges for horticultural shows as well as a panel of horticultural lecturers. In the NVS Shop you can buy DVD's and leaflets made by the society's experts and through our affiliates a range of garden equipment suitable for all those who want to grow superb crops and garden well. In the Grow & Show section, you can find a wealth of information, continually updated, of interest to gardeners and not just vegetable growers although we do concentrate on growing superb vegetables,
