It is with deep sorrow that we have to announce the death of the NVS President Emeritus Bill Hargreaves at the age of 96 years. Bill was a founder member of the NVS and held many positions at local and national level, including being elected President Emeritus in 2018. He was awarded the NVS gold medal in 1977.
Funeral details are: Requiem Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Preston New Rd, Blackburn Friday 26th November at 12:00 followed by Pleasington Crematorium at 1:30.
Following the Church service and committal, all are welcome at Pleasington Golf Club where we will share refreshments and memories of Bill.
