We are thrilled to announce that Small Fruited Tomatoes will be introduced as a new class to our National Championships schedule commencing in 2026 at St.Fagans.
Tomatoes, Small Fruited, One dish of fifteen. Staging board supplied. Each small fruited tomato must not exceed 35mm in diameter as measured by the NVS multigauge measuring too.
Small Fruited Tomatoes are already a popular class at DA and Branch-level competitions, consistently attracting member participation. By introducing this class at the national level, we hope to encourage even more members to exhibit their produce and take part in the championships.
According to our 2021 members’ survey, Tomatoes are the most popular vegetable grown by 93% our membership. With its widespread appeal, this new class has the potential to become a highly competitive and celebrated feature of Annual Championships.
