Calling all Northern Branch members. Due to health issue and unforseen circumstances the Northern Branch have current & upcoming elected positions to fill. The Branch meet 4 time-a-year, 3 meetings are via Zoom and the AGM is a face-to-face meeting.
The following the positions are the roles to be filled with a very brief outline of the their duties.
Show Secretary & Assisstant Show Secretary (both vacant); mark-out the exhibition benches and general overseeing of exhibitor staging at the Northern Branch Championships held at Newby Hall during September.
Treasurer; keep accounts of the Northern Branch finances and produce quarterly reports for the Branch meetings and End-of-Year reports for the Northern Branch AGM. This position will become vacant at the AGM in March 2025. The current Treasurer is more than happy for someone to shadow him and get an understanding on how the finacial process/reporting works etc.
Secretary; Collate, co-ordinate and present information to the Northern Branch Committee. Liaise with Trustees and Northern Branch. Represent the Northern Branch on the Trustees. Trustee meeting are via Zoom. This position will become available asap. The current Secretary is more than willing to offer help and guidance to anyone willing to take on the role.

The Northern Branch is also looking for new members to join and serve on the Northern Branch Committee. We meet 4 time-a-year, 3 meetings are via Zoom and the AGM is a face-to-face meeting
We all take a great deal of information and enjoyment from the National Vegetable Society, why not take this oppertunity to put someting back into the Society for future generations to enjoy.
