NVS Irish Championships 2026

On Saturday March 7th, the NVS Ireland team proudly launched the 2026 NVS Irish Championships, set to take place on Sunday, August 23rd, at The Showgrounds in Moate, Co. Westmeath.
We encourage as many members as possible to take part! Entry is free for all current members of the National Vegetable Society and for any one current member of an Affiliated Society. With a generous prize fund, beautiful rosettes, and prestigious trophies up for grabs across our eighteen championship classes, there’s plenty to compete for.
This year, The Chairman’s Challenge is a dish of six radish "sparkler" grown from the free seeds kindly provided by Unwins to each Irish member. It’s an exciting challenge for our Irish growers, and we wish you all the best!
Additionally, we have expanded our schedule for 2026 with two new classes: An additional novice class and a Large collection of five kinds class.
