Sad News - Malcolm Evans

The NVS is deeply saddened to announce the death of Malcolm Evans .  A Vice President of the Society and President of the Northern Branch,  Malcolm was a stalwart of the society.   A life member of the Society, Malcolm  served on the board of Trustees for many a year ,  was National Editor throughout the 80's and served as a member of the Judges panel, to name just a few  along with his heavy involvement with the Northern Branch. 

Our sympathy's go to Malcolm's Wife Margaret and their family at this difficult time, He will be sorely missed.

Funeral details;

Friday 8th March

13:00:  A service at St Peters Church, Northgate ,Horbury, WF4 6AS

He will then be taken to Wakefield crematorium for a short service and cremation - WF4 3JA

The wake will be held from 1500 at Horbury Workingmens Club, Cluntergate, Horbury, WF4 5DB
