NVS Irish Championships 2024

On Saturday last, the NVS Ireland team launched the 2024 NVS Irish Championships which will be held on Sunday 25th August at The Showgrounds, Moate, Co. Westmeath.

We would encourage as many members as possible to participate. The Championships are free to enter for all current members of the National Vegetable Society and any one current member of an Affiliated Society. We have a generous prize fund, wonderful rosettes, and trophies for the winners of our twelve championship classes.  Included will be “The Chairman Challenge” for a dish of 3 Korist Kohl Rabi grown from the free seeds kindly provided by unwins to each Irish Member. This will be a new challenge for all our members to try and we wish you every success.

We have booked the restaurant in the Grand Hotel in Moate for 7pm on the evening of the show. We have also negotiated a three-course set menu with tea and coffee for 30 euro per person. Please confirm if you are attending with your entry.
