The Bucks D.A. will be holding its AGM on Tuesday 10th February 2026 at 7pm (Please note the earlier start time)
At the Community Centre, Church Street, Wingrave, Bucks HP22 4PE
The AGM will be followed by a talk with RAYMOND HIGGINS FNVS "Growing Potatoes the Irish Way"
There is no entry fee for Members or Non Members, with free refreshments served at the interval. There is also a bar at the venue.
A raffle is held which is the main source of income for these talks to be held, Please support!!
Raymond Higgins, National Chairman of the NVS, hails from the Midlands in Ireland and has been growing and exhibiting vegetables for over 30 years. He is one of Irelands most respected figures in the world of competitive vegetable growing. Raymond has won the prestigious All Ireland potato championship and the All Ireland collection of vegetables championships on multiple occasions. Raymond's talk will cover the world of growing vegetables in Ireland, from practical growing techniques to the excitement of exhibiting at top class shows. He will also give a fascinating insight into one of Ireland's most unique horticultural events, The All Ireland potato championship.
