Zoom Talk - Owain Roberts - Growing Exhibition Blanch leeks

Owain's talk will be a power point of photos taking us through his growing year from taking bulbils to achieving impressive show-stoppers. 

Owain is a very experienced exhibitor and NVS judge and regularly judges at local shows throughout North Wales to Branch and National Championships.  In 2015 Owain joined the Welsh Branch committee and is currently the branch Treasurer and Welsh Branch Trustee Rep.  Owain is best known for his potatoes but he particularly enjoys growing blanch Leeks to a high standard coming 2nd on multiple occasions at the Nationals and is the current National Leek Championship of Great Britain. Owain finds the time to fit all of this in within his busy work and family schedule.
