The Midlands Branch covers the middle band of England. The area starts at the Welsh border and spreads right across to the North Sea with Oxfordshire,  Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire forming the lower border and Staffordshire,  Leicestershire across to Norfolk as our top border.

We hold regular committee meetings in accordance with the National Constitution and support DA’s and the formation of new DA’s with a £500 grant ,and at all times promote the ideas of the National Vegetable Society. Our volunteer committee is made up of branch members across the whole area and all walks of life. We like to think we are an approachable bunch!

Our DA’s organise annual garden visits to give members the opportunity to get a private tour around champion growers and large estate gardens, as well as quite a few regular talks from experts and specialist growers.

We hold an Annual Show at Malvern each year, as well as supporting and attending Malvern Spring Show, Shrewsbury Show and Bucks County Show. Our stands are a great place to come and meet other vegetable growers, test our growers’ knowledge and if we don't know the answers there and then we will certainly know someone who does. These are really good days out and we look forward to seeing you there.
