On behalf of the 2021 Southern Branch Virtual Show Committee, I would like to thank all of the members who entered the Virtual competition. We had a total of 80 classes entered with 57 actual entries submitted, that was 71% of all entries being staged. In all there were 173 photographs that need to be sorted, renamed by competitor number only then copied into the Class Folders in our cloud storage enabling our panel of judges easy access to the photos.

Thanks also go to our panel of six judges in three pairs consisting of Marion Neden and Kelvin Mason who judged Classes 1, 3, 11, 12, 15, 16 & 20, Paul Dalby and Keith Hine who judged Classes 2, 5, 6, 7, 13, 14 & 19 and Richard Hilson and Ian Clemens
who judged Classes 4, 8, 9, 10, 17 & 18. Jan Lovel was our reserve judge with Barry Newman officiating as Head Judge. Obviously, trying to judge vegetables from a series of photographs is not the easiest of activities and I am sure that you will join with me in applauding their endeavours in coming to the decisions that they have.

The winners are detailed in the attached PDF files where I also give details of the winning cultivars / varieties for each of the classes. To one and all I send my heartiest
congratulations.  In addition to this,  I am happy to report that the winner of Best
in Show went to Ray Higgins for his peas and the winner of most points within the
show and the Banksian medal went to Sherie Plumb.  Many congratulations.

Norman Dickinson, Southern Branch Chair
