NVS National Championships 2025

The dates for the  National Championships, hosted by the Scottish Branch have now been finalised  as Friday 15th and Saturday 16th August 2025.

They will be held at Ayr Racecourse,  2-6 Whitletts Rd, Ayr KA8 0JE

Each year, the hosting branch of the National Championships choose the Chair's Challenge class.  The Scottish Branch have decided that the Chair's Challenge will be six pods of broad beans .

There is also a new class being added to the 2025 show schedule for  

Beetroot, Globe. One dish of five. Staging plate supplied.

Accommodation

Anyone wishing to stay at the Western House Hotel, Ayr, KA8 0HA  the Scottish Branch have managed to secure room prices for their courtyard rooms  as follows;

Bed & Breakfast - double £100/night,   single £90 per night

Please contact bookings manager Emma Berry  on (01292)  294 990,  reference the National Vegetable Society.  ( NB there were only originally 39 rooms available,  so you may have to be quick.).

There is also a Premier Inn near by  (Wheatpark Place, Ayr, Ayrshire, KA8 9RT).  It's approximately 6 minutes drive ( 30 mins walk)
